BUZZANCA
Matteo Buzzanca was born in Rome in 1973 into a family of actors (his grandfather Gino Buzzanca Gino Buzzanca was one of the most active character actors in the post-war period and with over one hundred films he worked for the big names of Italian cinema such as Federico Fellini, Vittorio De Sica, Mario Monicelli, Luigi Zampa, Totò, Nanni Loy, Roberto Rossellini) and thanks to his record father of the historic Italian RCA RCA italiana he grew up immersed in records. Music and cinema necessarily become his great passions that mark his experience. He began writing soundtracks for short films in Italy and abroad, museum installations, commercials and theatrical performances.
He soon moved to Tuscany where he attended film music courses at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana with Ennio Morricone and Luis Bachalov and collaborated as an author and arranger with some artists on the independent scene such as Andrea Chimenti and Paolo Benvegnù. The music he wrote for "Callas, a chamber tragedy", on stage at the Teatro Litta in Milan, attracted the attention of some observers who offered him his first publishing contract with the American label Peermusic.

FILM MUSIC
In 2016 he founded his music factory Rokovoko in a very modern studio in the center of Milan and provides sound for the commercials of major international brands.
In 2017, the ideal project arrived from CSC to definitively engage with the world of cinema and he wrote the original songs and the soundtrack of "Saremo giovani e bellissimi” film directed by Letizia Lamartire and starring Barbora Bobulova and Alessandro Paviani which allows him to obtain the special prize “Soundtrack Stars Award” at the 75th Venice Film Festival for the music and the nominations for the “Nastro d’argento” and the “Ciak d’Oro” as best song.
In 2021 he composed the original soundtrack for “Il divin codino” the Netflix film that tells the story of Roberto Baggio.
Also in 2021 he received the nomination for best soundtrack to “Le Fabrique du Cinema” 2021 with the music written for “Trash – The legend of the magic pyramid” animated feature film winner of numerous international awards.
In 2023 work begins on the entire soundtrack of “Noi siamo leggenda” new RAI series of twelve episodes directed by Carmine Elia.
Also for RAI he composes the music for the series “Per Elisa – Il caso Claps” directed by Marco Pontecorvo.
Since 2014 he has also been a teacher of "Sound for Movies” at SAE Milan, the largest creative media college in the world.
POP MUSIC
In Milan he began his career in the world of pop music and Caterina Caselli contributes to this by sensing his potential and offering him entry Sugar Music.
His versatility allows him to write for very different artists and this is how he collects numerous successes such as "Vita ce n'è" for Eros Ramazzotti, “Bologna è una regola” for Luca Carboni, “Senza fare sul serio” for Malika Ayane , “I tuoi maledettissimi impegni” for Max Gazzè (Sanremo 2013), “Arriverà l’amore” for Emma Marrone , “L’estate di John Wayne” for Raphael Gualazzi.

L’ultima prestigiosa collaborazione arriva con l’inedito “Rimani qui” scritto per l’album “30th Anniversary” di Andrea Bocelli pubblicato il 25 Ottobre 2024 e cantato in duetto dal grande tenore e da Elisa.
